Baltic Sea Region Integrated Maritime Cultural Heritage Management
November 2017 - September 2020
BalticRIM is a EU-project funded by the Interreg IV programme, a community initiative by the European Fund for Regional Development. It was set up as an initiative by state authorities responsible for cultural heritage and spatial planning in the Baltic Sea region in response to the EU's directive on Maritime Spatial Planning of 2014. The importance of the BalticRIM Project is reflected by its flagship-status of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR), as well as by the recognition as project of the European Cultural Heritage Year (ECHY 2018). The State Archaeology Department of Schleswig-Holstein (ALSH) is the lead partner in this project. The duration of the project is November 2017 to September 2020.
