Definition
A trap construction made of wood or stone, which is erected in sheltered or flowing water.[1]
Description
The traps are typically placed along regular fish migration routes or spawning places.[2]

At that time, there were still almost 40 of these wicker fences to be found close together in the middle of the Schlei.
