Definition
A sheltered area on a waterfront for mooring of watercraft.
Description
A harbour is often built near habitation and connected to traffic lines on land and body of water. Harbour is often connected with earthen, wooden or stone structures, such as wharfs, piers, jetties or quays. The harbour can be made safer by breakwaters and sea marks, such as a lighthouse. Ballast dumping sites often appear close to harbours.
