Definition

Sites created and used for launching from and/or reaching land with different kinds of watercraft and for activities associated with these seaward–landward activities.[1]


Description

According to Kristin Ilves, a landing site can mean many different things, for example, landing site for fishing, industrial landing site, landing site for overnight stay, naval landing site,landing site for sea-bird fowling, etc.[2]
